Neighborhoods Against Substance Abuse Survey

Continued funding for Neighborhoods Against Substance Abuse (NASA) depends on updated information about drug use in Hancock County. NASA has worked with interested citizens in finding ways to combat alcohol and drug abuse, adhering to concepts from the Governor’s Commission for a Drug-Free Indiana. This survey helps to provide data and information relative to funding. These funds will assist the organization to continue with the Hancock County D.A.R.E. program that provides classroom instruction on alcohol and drug awareness, the Hancock County Jail intervention program, displays at informational booths and facilitate the 12 step programs for the Hancock County Jail and the community.
