Boys & Girls Club Community Marketing Project
The challenge was to increase the utilization of The Boys and Girls Club of Hancock County’s facilities. The mission of the project was to identify at least 2 ways to market the BGCHC facility to raise awareness and provide materials for the Club to use for distribution. The proposed solution was to create a marketing brochure that can be mailed (distribution list), reformatted; it can be e-mailed (Chamber of Commerce) or used with monthly Greenfield Reporter advertising, post on the website, and display at local venues (Chamber office, businesses, the hospital, etc.)

The Born Learning Trail Project
The challenge was to: “Revitalize the Born Learning Trails in Hancock County to make them as integrated part of the community. Incorporate the Born Learning Trail opportunities and activities into the early childhood education for Greenfield Central School Corporation.” The trails provide the foundation by: Building language and literacy skills through talking, reading, telling stories, writing, singing, and rhyming with young children; building social-emotional development through responsive caregiving; Greater understanding by parents and caregivers that they play a valuable role in supporting early learning; and use of everyday moments – fun, loving interaction – to reinforce learning.
